Capacity Building
On 08/03/2024, our teachers delved deep into identifying challenges and exploring innovative teaching methods in the Common Core programme. It was about adapting, evolving, and ensuring every student's success.
Our aim was to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies to improve teaching and learning outcomes. It involved providing teachers with the necessary support, resources, and training to help them develop professionally.
Key components of capacity building for teachers include:
- Training and Workshops: Providing teachers with training on new teaching methodologies, curriculum updates, and subject-specific knowledge.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Pairing experienced teachers with newer teachers to provide guidance, support, and advice.
- Networking: Facilitating opportunities for teachers to connect with peers, share best practices, and learn from each other.
- Resource Provision: Ensuring teachers have access to relevant teaching materials, technology, and other resources to enhance their teaching.
- Continuous Professional Development: Encouraging teachers to engage in lifelong learning and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest trends and research in education.
