Carols Service

Basking in the glow of joy as we saw the star at University Basic School, Legon's Carols Service today! 10/12/2023. The Carol Service was a festive event where students, teachers, and sometimes parents came together to celebrate Christmas. The service typically included singing traditional Christmas carols, readings from the Bible or other Christmas-themed literature and other performances by the School choir or band. There were native plays and other dramatic presentations. The Carol Service actually highlighted on the Christmas season for many students and families, and also provided a chance to come together as a community and celebrate the holiday spirit.

The University Basic School successfully hosted its Annual Inter-Sectional Athletics Competition at the University's Athletics Oval.

Our students trip to China was an incredibly enriching experience. It offered them the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture, learn about Chinese history, language, and traditions, and broaden their global perspective.

On 16/02/2023, Our Class 2 pupils, embarked on a trip to the Accra Zoo. The visit was very exciting as the pupils had a special educational experience.

Our 61st Speech & Prize-Giving Day was a blast!!!. The event was used to recognize and celebrate academic achievements, progress, and contributions to the school community.

U.B.S. Girl Guides made a donation to the Children’s Ward of the University Hospital, Legon on the occasion of World Thinking Day to commemorate the joint birthdays of their founders. Happy Thinking Day.

The UBS Coding and Robotics Club made their first appearance at the First Lego League. This year's Competition was under the team, "Hydrodynamics".
